Today we’ve got two looks from the last two weeks, both nice, natural, and very suitable for daytime wear. I’ve just got a new mineral powder foundation which matches my skin tone- although sometimes it comes out a little TOO pink- which inspired me to do looks that are that quintessential “no makeup” makeup style.
On another note, my leg is much better! All the bruising is gone, and the deep grazes are healing well, although slowly. Where the ankle and foot strap were on my heels still hurts like hell though, but other than that. Yay! Getting better!
Take a look at the makeup after the jump.
For both daytime looks, I used the same products for my base:
Thin Lizzy Pressed Mineral Powder in Enchanted Rose
Thin Lizzy Concealer in Enchanted Rose
Elizabeth Arden Blush in Pink Mauve
This look is good for at school, where you’re not meant to wear makeup, or if you just want a quick look to throw on at an occasion where not much makeup is required. I kept products to a minimum, to ensure it’s a quick look to piece together.
What I used:
Eyes:
Blackbox eyeshadow in matte nude
Colormania mascara in brown-black
Lips: Za Lipstick in baby pink (not sure what the exact code is, because it’s come off. oops.)
This look is a more summery, sun-friendly look, perfect for heading out to the beach or a nice summer picnic. I also added in a very tough waterproof mascara so if you did wear this to the beach, it wouldn’t run everywhere. The Thin Lizzy concealer I used in this look is also waterproof.
Face:
Designer Brands pressed powder foundation in Medium
Eyes:
Maxfactor False Lash Effect mascara in Black (waterproof)
Lips:
Burts Bees Beeswax and Pomegranate lip balm
I am a huge fan of no-makeup makeup! Totally what you'll find Tash and I in usually! :)
